The Vechtstreek Museum is located in former Silversteyn House, one of the many country estates along the Vecht in Maarssen. This small-scale cultural-historical museum showcases the history of Maarssen, the Vecht and its beautiful country estates. Its beautiful location in the park of Goudestein, on the river Vecht, means it still breathes the atmosphere of the seventeenth century.
