Check out one of the many cycling routes along Kasteel de Haar and combine your castle visit with an active bike ride. There is a bicycle shed opposite the entrance gate. Tip: rent a public transport bike from one of the nearby train stations: Station Maarssen, Vleuten or Breukelen.

From Utrecht Centraal: take the sprinter towards Den Haag Centraal and get off at Vleuten. From Vleuten station, take bus 111 towards Kasteel de Haar, from there it is a 1-minute walk to the entrance building of Kasteel de Haar. From Amsterdam Centraal: take the train to Breukelen station. From Breukelen station, take bus 111 towards Kasteel de Haar. From the stop it is a 1-minute walk to the entrance building of Kasteel de Haar.
