With its beautiful location in the park of Goudestein, on the river Vecht, the museum still breathes the atmosphere of the seventeenth century. The permanent collection showcases the history of Maarssen, the Vecht and its beautiful country estates. In addition, the museum organises a temporary exhibition on the Vechtstreek and its artists a few times a year.
