The Krommerijnder canal barge operates cruises from mid-April through mid-October every Saturday and Sunday at 1:30pm, and for groups by appointment. For reservations, contact the VVV Wijk bij Duurstede tourist office!
The Krommerijnder is a replica of a canal barge. This type of ship used to sail down the Kromme Rijn River from Wijk bij Duurstede to Utrecht.
Construction was completed in late July of 2013. The boat is powered by a low-noise motor to allow you to enjoy the nature in peace and quiet.
