The beautiful Den Treek-Henschoten Estate is located at the edge of the Utrechtse Heuvelrug. It is one of the largest private estates in the Netherlands. The vast area with forests, nature, agriculture and heathland covers almost 2,200 hectares.
Walking and cycling
On the information panels at the various parking lots you will find mapped out walking trails which are definitely worth it:
• Akkersesteeg walking trail 4.1 km
• De Troet walking trail 4.5 km
• Ringheuvels walking trail 4.8 km
You can also explore Den Treek-Henschoten on a bicycle, there are paved cycling paths throughout the area. If you like it a bit more adventurous, you can try the mountainbike trails. The northern (blue) route is 22 kilometers. The southern (red) route is 15 kilometers. Both routes offer plenty of challenges.
