Swimming pool Octopus in Leusden is a spacious and complete swimming pool for toddlers, children and adults. With a 25-meter pool, a recreational pool full of surprising features and a toddler/preschool pool, there is something for everyone. 

Sunbathing lawn 

In the summer there is an outdoor area with a play and sunbathing lawn. There is also a beach volleyball court for older children.

What makes Octopus Swimming Pool unique?

We disinfect all swimming water by means of salt electrolysis. This means that we do not add chlorine to the water, but a chlorine compound is created by salt electrolysis. People with breathing and skin problems, among other things, benefit from this.

Recreational pool

Our playful recreational pool with rapids, a whirlpool, a bubble bath, a water slide and massage loungers, has an average water temperature of 31 degrees. For the little ones we have a separate toddler and preschool area with an Octopus slide. The slide is open on Friday evenings during disco swimming and on Saturdays and Sundays. 

Competition pool

Our competition pool (15 x 25 meters) has an average temperature of 28 degrees and has a movable bottom. There are professional starting blocks and a fun diving board.

Extra heated target group pool

Would you rather swim in warmer water or do you need to recuperate? Our extra heated target group pool (9 x 15 meters) has a lazy staircase, a movable bottom and has an average temperature of 33 degrees. This pool is ideal for people who want to swim on a therapeutic basis and for people with rheumatic conditions. On Sunday mornings, during family swimming, the target group pool is open for the little ones!
