Master distiller Laetitia de Hoog does everything herself – from distilling to bottling – and it shows in every detail. The heart of The Chamberick is a wood-fired still, where Laetitia crafts one barrel of whisky in about seven weeks. Visitors are welcome to see, smell and taste the process. The product range is both pure and surprising. The single malt whisky is distilled following a Scottish recipe, using 100% barley malt from Zeeland. In addition, The Chamberick produces spiced gin, chocolate liqueur, and pear schnapps made from windfall fruit from their own orchard – each with its own local story.
