We have set up a cozy tea house in our old bakehouse. In the summer months you can enjoy coffee, tea, home-baked cake and ice cream on the terrace. Since the beginning of 2023 our tea house is heated with infrared so you can enjoy your cup of coffee or tea in a nice and warm environment.

In addition to our delecious apple pie, we offer a pie of the week adapted to the time of year with fruits that are widely available at that time in the region. We also sell farmers ice cream from Hoeve Ruitenbeek. If you visit us with an electric bicycle you can charge it while you enjoy a nice cup of coffee on the terrace or take a stroll through the flower garden. It is also possible to have a delicious High Tea at our place (you need to book it in advance. It is for groups of 4 people or more).
The tea house is located in the beautiful area of 'Het Utrechts Landschap', a great area for walking.
We are open from Thursday to Saturday, from mid-April until mid-October. Keep an eye on our Facebook and Instagram pages for the current opening hours.
Flower picking garden
The garden is open from Thursday to Saturday from 10:30 am to 5:00 pm. From mid-April to early May you can pick tulips in our picking garden. From May on we start planting the cultivated summer plants from our greenhouse. These will bloom from July . From July on you are welcome to pick a beautiful summer bouquet. Many types of flowers such as dahlias, ammi majus and lathyrus grow in our colorful flower picking garden. marigolds, cornflowers, zinnias, etc. too many to mention. You can pick your own flowers and create a beautiful bouquet.
