At Mooi op 't Hooi in Kamerik, everything is about experience. Forget the standard restaurant: here you sit down for a delicious 4-course dinner on a hay bale, in the middle of the meadow, with curious cows as neighbours. Chef Stefan Ostendorf serves a tasty meal with meat and dairy from De Beekhoeve farm and fresh seasonal vegetables. With each course, you hear the story behind the ingredients - so you not only taste the region, but also understand where your food comes from.
The menu is 75% local and the rest from the Utrecht region. A conscious choice that shows how delicious and sustainable food from Dutch soil can be. Vegetarian food is unfortunately not possible here due to the fixed menu, but do you have an allergy? Just let us know.

In bad weather, you can sit down no less attractively in the old cowshed in the yard - just as charming, but a little drier. The idea for this special concept comes from Demi van der Laan, born and raised on the farm, where her love for farm life and her entrepreneurial spirit came together.
