Exhibition: Lens+Water
Location
In the photography exhibition Lens+Water, you’ll discover water through a surprising lens. For centuries, the sea, lakes, rivers and of course the Lek have inspired countless artists. With the arrival of photography, that image changed forever: while the camera can capture the world in detail, the photographer shows us that every photo is a personal interpretation.
Lens+Water presents work by leading photographers such as Saskia Boelsums, Marie-Claire Greve, Maartje Roos and Hennie Marks. Each of them shows in their own way the relationship between people, water and landscape. From composition to editing, every choice shapes the final image — making photography as personal an art form as painting or sculpture.
The museum also offers extra activities alongside the exhibition. Join a landscape photography workshop with Hennie Marks or attend an inspiring lecture.
