Royal route through the woods
This route passes royal spots around Baarn, Soestdijk Palace and the Soesterduinen and finally through the polder along the Eem. Starting and ending at VVV Amersfoort. From 15 April to 15 October, the last part from back to Amersfoort can also be done by bike boat (www.eemlijn.nl).
This route can be followed using the nodes and can be downloaded on a GPS device. The route is also included in the booklet 'Fietsroutes door Amersfoort en omstreken', which is on sale for € 4.95 at VVV Amersfoort.
Don't have your own bike? Then it is possible to rent a bike from one of the bike rental companies in Amersfoort and its surroundings.

Description
You start on the Breestraat in Amersfoort. For the most part, the route follows the cycle junction network. To get to the first junction, follow the following directions:
- Drive out of Breestraat towards the north and after the bridge, turn left (Nieuweweg) and immediately left again, onto 't Zand. You will now reach junction number 88, the start of the cycle route.
Tip: At junction 64, you can turn right and cycle up Amsterdamsestraatweg for a bit to admire Soestdijk Palace. Then return to node 64 to continue the junction route.
