Discover the UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Utrecht

Utrecht has three special UNESCO World Heritage Sites: the world-famous Rietveld Schröderhuis, the strategic Hollandse Waterlinies and the centuries-old Limes, border of the Roman Empire. These places are unique in the world and tell stories you won't find anywhere else.

With five special cycling routes, ranging from 16 to 41 kilometres, you will discover Utrecht's rich history, impressive architecture and beautiful landscape. This route takes you From Domplein to Hoge Woerd: connecting two castella and letting you relive the Roman Limes in stories, finds and hidden traces along the way.

In the guide (available at the Utrecht Shop/VVV on Domplein) you will find even more information on Limes sights and facts along the way.
