Utrecht Lumen is an exploration in the dark along artistically lit locations in Utrecht's extraordinary city centre. After nightfall, Utrecht Lumen takes you from the centrally located Vredenburg past a growing number of projects by renowned (inter)national light artists. These artworks shed a special light on the history, inhabitants, function or symbolism of a structure or location. Some light artworks play with a familiar building. Others take you to a surprising place you wouldn't otherwise easily visit or would completely pass by during the day.
Utrecht Lumen artworks can be seen 7 days a week from sunset to midnight.
