Roman Limes path

Step in the footsteps of the Romans! Walk 275 kilometres along reconstructed watchtowers and castella along the Roman Limes, admire the excavated artefacts in top museums such as the Rijkmuseum voor Oudheden in Leiden and Het Valkhof in Nijmegen. Learn about the exchange of goods and culture between Romans and other peoples living in the area, such as the Batavians.

Parts 8, 9 and 10 run through the Kromme Rijn region.
