Kids treasure hunts | Woerden

Go on a discovery trail through Woerden. With the brand new treasure hunts, developed by Gilde Woerden, you will listen to special stories and facts, take a guided city walk, play a quiz, solve the rebus and... do you know how to crack the code?
The treasure hunts can be booked via VVV Woerden. You will be given a tablet with stories to take you back in time. The stories are told by children from the 17th, 18th and 19th centuries: Evert, Cornelis, Willem and Greet. Walk through the city and answer questions like "who made this work of art", "what does MCMLXXXIX mean", and "how many steps long is the street you are standing in". For each correct answer, you will receive a letter. From this letter, you have to make a word. Has the code been cracked? Then you can get an ice cream at Friendly's!

The scavenger hunts are designed for primary school children in group 6, 7 or 8. The group size per tablet is 1 to a maximum of 5 children. A supervisor (18+) must accompany the scavenger hunt. The supervisor must keep the tablet with him/her; the supervisor will not receive an ice cream.
