BEACH IN THE CITY
Leidsche Rijn by the Sea, some call it. The sunset there is phenomenally beautiful. Especially when you sit on the terrace at Beachhouse Key West with a nice drink. Then you really wonder why people are still stuck in traffic jams to the sea.
The wide sandy beach is the place to be. The end of the long jetty is the place for a swim or a diving competition. The bathing water is crystal clear and clean as no motorboats are allowed anywhere in this flooded sand reclamation area. In the summer months, there is supervision and you can go to the toilet free of charge. Traditionally, summer ends here with Festival Strand. Why go on holiday when you can also go here?
