The Miffy Museum is the world in miniature and the most fun museum for toddlers and pre-schoolers. In the themed rooms, toddlers and pre-schoolers discover the world around them step by step, together with a parent or carer. Dick Bruna’s picture books are the inspiration for these worlds.
Go exploring in Miffy’s house, Betje’s shop and Jan’s farm. Do you know how a zebra crossing works? Or what motor oil smells like? You’ll find out in the city. In every room, there’s plenty to see, feel and learn. You can explore the museum in a playful way with Miffy and her friends. Have you never been to a museum before? In ‘the museum’, you’ll discover what a museum is. Get to know Dick Bruna’s artworks, have a go with shapes and colours yourself, or build a work of art with blocks. Be careful your artistic tower doesn’t topple over!
Regular activities are organised, such as multilingual read-alouds, guided tours in Dutch Sign Language and low-incentive mornings.
There is a museum café on site where you can enjoy a bite to eat and a drink. And across the road, in the Centraal Museum, you’ll find the museum shop selling the best Miffy souvenirs.

Accessibility
Through the use of a variety of materials, tactile and scented games, colour contrasts, Braille and Dutch Sign Language, there is plenty for all toddlers and pre-schoolers to experience and discover. All areas are accessible to pushchairs and (standard) wheelchairs.
