A Toeristisch Overstappunt, or 'TOP' for short, is a beautiful spot in an attractive rural area where visitors can start a recreational activity. Parking spaces, catering facilities, a charging point for bikes and, of course, beautiful walking and cycling routes are among the fixed facilities of a Tourist Transfer Point. Four TOP locations have already been opened in the North Holland part of the Gooi- and Vechtstreek .

Slot Zuylen is located on the Vecht in Oud-Zuilen, just outside Utrecht. The medieval castle was converted into a country house in the 18th century. Its most famous resident was the writer Belle van Zuylen. For 60 years, Slot Zuylen has been open as a museum. Slot Zuylen can be visited accompanied by a guide. You can also take a stroll through the castle garden with, in addition to the coach house and rosary, the showpiece being the Snake Wall from 1740 where sub-tropical fruits used to be grown. Concerts and other events further bring the past to life.
Slot Zuylen is a wonderful base for walkers and cyclists - among other things, an ANWB cycle route starts at the Slot - but since the opening of the new museum café and information centre Land van Zuylen, the start of a trip through the area has become even more attractive.
