Leerdam Bible Museum
A unique collection of Dutch cultural-religious historical heritage of (very) ancient Bibles.
At the Leerdam Bible Museum, you will find mainly illustrated copies with engravings, woodcuts, steel/copper engravings, etchings and colour lithographs (period 1500-1900). A visit to the museum gives a good idea of the role and significance of the Bible for Dutch language and culture.
The Bible Museum is open by appointment only.
