Location
Loosdrecht is the water sports mecca of the Netherlands. Here, the water is always nearby. The five Loosdrecht lakes are connected, creating a magnificent water sports area.
All types of vessels are allowed here, motorised or not. You can go to one of the many rental companies for a canoe, rowing boat or sailing boat, but also rent a sloop, for example. You can even hire a boat with a captain.
The lakes contain small islands with lovely beaches, the ideal place for a picnic. Or moor your boat at one of the many cosy restaurants with a waterside terrace.
