Every Friday, our historic city centre has been filled with activity and conviviality since 1310. You will find Utrecht's largest evening market until 19:00. Dozens of stalls with fresh syrup waffles, hundreds of kinds of sweets, a delicious fried fish, delicious cheeses, fresh nuts and flowers, clothes, bags and much more, fill our historic centre.

Meet each other at the market
Together with the shopping evening of our shopkeepers, over 95% of whom are local entrepreneurs, it is great shopping and strolling along the stalls. Our cosy cafés and brasseries complete the start of your weekend. Over 20 catering entrepreneurs are ready to let you enjoy our hospitality. Can't make it this Friday? Not to worry. This special meeting takes place every week, also on winter evenings when the streets of the city centre are illuminated and extra atmospheric.
