- Explanatory season: This walk is good to do in any season. In spring it has just been mowed and the gates and silhouettes will be easy to see, in autumn it is a bit more exciting as the grass can get very high in this area.
- Comment starting point: The starting point is along the lock path.
- Accessibility notes: The nature reserve can be accessed from different sides, from the starting point there is a small staircase (3 steps) to the trail. From the Vuilcop, there are no stairs and all silhouettes and gates are easily accessible.
- Administrator name: Municipality of Nieuwegein
- Explanatory marking: Along the way to the route, signs are indicated with 'Nieuwegen Eeuwenoud'. The route itself is not signposted. It is a small area in which the gates and silhouettes of different times are placed.
