Nieuwegein Barefoot Trail
Experience nature barefoot! This great barefoot trail in Nieuwegein takes you over a variety of surfaces, from wood chips to tree stumps and thick branches, and from grass and moss to fine sand, gravel and large boulders. The walking route passes through muddy sections, a small beach and an exciting bridge. It’s a great place for the kids to burn off some energy! At the end of the route, you can wash your feet again by the barn. Tip: bring your own towel.

The Natuurkwartier is a pedestrian zone, so it is not accessible to cars or bicycles. Therefore, please park your car in the car park at Jacks Grillhouse; the entrance is on the other side of the road. It is about a 10-minute walk to the nature playground.
This walk is available from April to November.
