At the Austerlitz day recreation area of Staatsbosbeheer, there is a child-friendly mountain bike route that is perfect for young adventurers. This route shares a section with the popular Mountain Bike Route Austerlitz, the favourite among families. Thanks to an extra loop, a short but surprisingly fun round trip has now been created - ideal for parents and children who want to be introduced to mountain biking in a playful way.

The starting point is somewhat difficult to find. It is on the north side of the Woudenbergseweg (N224) , near the Pyramid of Austerlitz. Note the signs for the Beauforthuis Theatre. This is opposite the starting point of the route. You enter the road, turn left and at the corner you will see the starting point of the route and the first marker on the left. On the right is an overview sign of the area.
