The Tower:
In the middle of the beautiful Kromme Rijn area, near bicycle junction 57, the Watertoren van Werkhoven stands along the Watertorenweg.
The Water Tower was built in 1935/1936. The Water Tower has been occupied since 1989 and opened its doors to the public in 2012.
A visit to the Water Tower is definitely worthwhile! On the ground floor there is the terrace/Atelier, every Sunday, from May to September, there is an opportunity to attend a guided tour of the tower under the owner's inspiring guidance. An interesting climb to the top with breathtaking views as a reward.
You are also welcome on the terrace these weekends for a nice lunch or just a cup of coffee with delicious apple-nut pie.

The Atelier:
Throughout the year, creative workshops take place in the water tower. Make a garden sculpture from textile hardener or cellular concrete? Mosaic a nice table? Individually or with a large group. It is all possible.
