From May to September, enjoy a river cruise with the bicycle and foot ferry and discover the UNESCO World Heritage Hollandse Waterlinies. The Liniepont sails back and forth across the Lek River, connecting three waterline defences: Werk aan het Spoel, Fort Everdingen and Werk aan de Groeneweg.

The Liniepont is fully electric and on sunny days the batteries can run on energy from solar panels. This sustainable ferry is ideal for walkers and cyclists who want to explore the beautiful green hinterland. Nearby, you'll find even more waterline history on the Eiland van Schalkwijk: at Fort Honswijk, Lunet aan de Snel, Fort Werk aan de Korte Uitweg (Fort WKU) and Werk aan de Waalse Wetering.
