What a nice and cosy recreation park De Galgenwaard is! Located on the Linge, near Oosterwijk in the municipality of Vijfheerenlanden. This beautiful area of Uiterwaarde is ideal for small water sports and fishing. De Galgenwaard has a boat ramp. Walkers and cyclists can also enjoy themselves here.
Opposite the centre of Heukelum is De Galgenwaard. Did you know that the Linge is the longest river in the Netherlands? That will be fun in and on the water. Campers are very welcome; 5 camper spaces are available right on the bank.
