Park Schothorst

Park Schothorst offers plenty of space for sports, fun and nature. In the middle of the City Park are activities that take more account of nature, for example allotments, nature education and nature recreation. At the sides of the park, paths have been laid out for more intensive recreational activities such as sports and skating.

The Schothorst country estate was created in 1780. In the mid-19th century, a landscape park was created with a manor house, coach house and an orangery. A building in an English landscape style. The current estate has a forest area, swamp, nature playground, lake, grasslands, avenues and fields. So plenty to see!

Park Schothorst is also home to several sports clubs such as Athletics Association Altis, Korfball Association Ckv Mia and Padel Association Padel33.
