Close to the centre of Woerden, the capital of the Green Heart, is Batenstein campsite. Here you can enjoy nature in peace and quiet. From here you can make beautiful cycling and walking trips. And the lively centre of Woerden is within walking distance! On the campsite itself, fishing is a favourite pastime. Almost half of the 2.5 hectare site consists of water, in which large carp and pike swim around. With a permit, you can try to hook one.
Right next to the campsite you will find swimming pool Batenstein. A swimming pool with a competition pool, recreational pool with slide and a free water playground.
