The small and cosy village of Achterveld (in the municipality of Leusden) is home to the centuries-old farmhouse 'Klein Hoolhorst'. It is still in use today as an agricultural farm with dairy cattle and various types of small livestock.
The Bed and Breakfast has 10 luxuriously furnished rooms. The rooms are equipped with 2 luxury box-spring beds, shower, toilet, washbasin and, of course, heating for cold winter nights. For the disabled visitor, there is a specially equipped room, wheelchair-friendly and the shower and toilet have been adapted to this.
Its beautiful location in the heart of Achterveld makes it the ideal place to receive boarders or use Klein Hoolhorst as group accommodation. The accommodation is within walking distance of the village and offers a free view over the farmlands.

For business guests, breakfast is available early in the morning. You can take advantage of the buffet from 6am. From our accommodation you have a short travel distance to the A1, A28 and A30 motorways, making it suitable to stay overnight if you have your work in the middle of the country.
Its good location makes it the ideal place for recreation and within walking distance of the village and yet with an unobstructed view over the countryside. It is also possible to rent bicycles and explore the surrounding area. Achterveld is also a beautiful area for hiking such as the wooden shoes path 'Snorrenhoefpad' . If you go out, you can of course reserve a packed lunch.
