De Blauwe Deel is a striking farm dating from 1793. The characteristic landscape on and around the farmyard has been preserved. In the old cart shed, for instance, as many authentic details as possible have been kept intact. Even the former sheep barn from the end of the 17th century remained in its original state as much as possible after being converted into office space. This can be seen, for instance, in the old wooden beams, the stable windows and the pencilled planks on the outside. In addition, the old laundry room on the ditch side is still in its original state.
