Located on the Amsterdam-Rijnkanaal canal and in the middle of nature, there are plenty of opportunities to organise both indoor and outdoor events. Seen from above, Fort de Batterijen, surrounded by water, looks like an island in the middle of the country. The access road still connected to the land brings you to the spacious event location with a host of structures from the time of Willem III. At that time, the site and its works, as part of the New Holland Waterline, fulfilled a military function that has been exchanged for the function of meeting and inspiring. The buildings "de Artillerieloods" and "het Wachthuis" have been modernised and furnished especially for this purpose. At Fort de Batterijen you also want to be outside, because with a bit of luck and perhaps a bit of patience you might just stumble across a hare, pheasant or peregrine falcon during your walk, drinks or dinner. For extra comfort and atmosphere, a reservation in high season therefore always includes a covered outdoor location. For an optimal experience of a conference, meeting or event, the venue is equipped with extensive and modern technical facilities. Besides the usual presentation facilities, the buildings and outdoor areas not only have fibre-optic powered Wifi, but also video facilities for hybrid meetings.
