Glass fusing demonstration

During Glas Leeft! 2026, you can enjoy an inspiring introduction to glass fusing at the Leerdam Tourist Information Centre. Glass artist Rianne Visser, together with two of her students, will demonstrate just how special this technique is. And the best bit is: you can not only watch, but also have a go yourself!

Rianne believes that anyone can be an artist. With humour, curiosity and a surprising take on glass, she lets you experience just how fun and accessible glass fusing is. Dare to experiment, discover how glass reacts to heat and get to know the endless possibilities of this special material.
