Oudewater Christmas Market

Experience the magic of Christmas at the cosy Christmas Market in the Franciscuskerk in Oudewater! The church is transformed into an atmospheric venue filled with Christmas decorations, music, treats and surprises. Stroll past the stalls, enjoy live performances and admire a special exhibition featuring hundreds of nativity scenes. A festive outing for young and old alike!

Christmas presents, treats and a cosy atmosphere
At the Christmasmarket, you’ll find plenty of lovely and unique products. Discover beautiful Christmas arrangements, second-hand Christmas items, jigsaw puzzles and books. Taste delicious oliebollen, apple fritters, cakes and other treats. Local produce such as pears, jam, walnuts, wines and fresh fruit juices are also available. Hang a wish on the Christmas tree and be in with a chance of winning great prizes!

For children, there are fun activities, such as an Advent calendar and a game of fishing for surprise bags. Fancy warming up? At ‘Herberg de 7 Gebeden’, you can enjoy some hot refreshments.

Music and hundreds of nativity scenes
On both days, musical performances will add to the festive atmosphere. De Banier will be performing on Thursday. On Friday, you can enjoy Papekop zingt weer and singer Linda de Jong. A particular highlight is the exhibition featuring hundreds of nativity scenes. Admire the many different Christmas scenes and prepare to be amazed!

Practical information
The Christmas market takes place on Thursday 10 December from 6.00 pm to 9.00 pm and on Friday 11 December from 3.00 pm to 9.00 pm at the Franciscuskerk in Oudewater.
