Guided tour for children

Come along on a journey of discovery through the historic town centre of IJsselstein! During this special guided walking tour for children, a guide will take you past remarkable monuments and hidden gems. Along the way, you’ll hear exciting stories and amusing facts, and discover what life in IJsselstein was like in the past.

What used to happen in the historic town hall? What was De Waag used for? And how does a centuries-old corn mill actually work? During the walk, you’ll discover the city’s secrets and see the buildings you may have walked past many times before in a whole new light.

• Suitable for: children aged 6 to 12, accompanied by an adult.

• Starts at 2.00 pm.

• Duration: approximately 1.5 hours.

• Includes: a climb up to the vaults of the Basilica.
