Along the way, he conjures up the most marvellous stories from his storyteller’s hat: tales of brave heroes, wicked villains, marksmen, dignitaries, bakers, emperors and ladies-in-waiting. Together with Johannes, you’ll meet the steadfast Farmer Bol, the ruthless stadtholder Lalaing, the inventive mayor Laan and all those other legendary figures who have made Baarn what it is today.
