National Glass Museum

The National Glass Museum is the glass treasure trove of the Netherlands. Here you will find the world's largest collection of Leerdam glass, complemented by foreign highlights. From classics such as Copier's Guild Glass to modern designs and contemporary works of art. The entire collection is on permanent display in the four walkways between the two museum villas. Visit the National Glass Museum and discover what is possible with glass. The Glass Museum is open daily (except Mondays) from 10 am to 5 pm and on Sundays from 12 pm to 5 pm.
In the Glasblazerij of the National Glass Museum, you can see up close how glass blowers make the most diverse art and design objects from hot liquid glass.

Visit with children
GlasBabbel cards (available at the museum desk) are for (grand)parents with children aged 8 or older. The cards can be used in all halls, for all showcases and multiple times. Also in the garden, where all kinds of glass can be found. Nothing needs to be written down or ticked off. The questions on the cards invite looking and conversation about what you see. After use, the cards are returned to the counter.
Walk through the permanent collection with (grand)children using the Bingo card (available at the museum desk) . Find the glass artworks shown. Found everything? Show your Bingo card at the museum desk and receive a prize!
