Hills, heathland and history
From RCN Het Grote Bos Holiday Park, you can walk through the vast forests of Driebergen, Austerlitz and Zeist. Along the way, you’ll discover the varied natural landscape of the Heidestein estate, where heathland, water and woodland alternate.
Halfway along the route, you’ll arrive in the lively centre of Zeist. This is a lovely spot to settle down on a terrace, enjoy lunch or visit Zeist Castle. Stroll through the charming gardens and the castle, or take a look at one of the changing exhibitions.
After this stop-off, the route takes you back into the countryside. Through the woods and the centre of Driebergen, you’ll stroll back at your own pace to the starting point at RCN Het Grote Bos Holiday Park. A varied walk where nature, culture and history come together along the way.
