Cycle route along the river Eem
With this cycle route, you will follow a large stretch of the Eem River and cross it too! The Eem is 18 km long originates from several streams that converge in Amersfoort and leave the city via the Koppelpoort. You will arrive at unique places where you will be impressed by the beautiful views every time. Start your cycle route at one of the junctions. Don't forget to get off now and then and enjoy the beautiful green and bird-rich surroundings.
Note: Ferry Eemdijk-Eemnes does not sail on Sundays. If you cycle this route on Sunday, skip the last part of the Eem and follow junctions 25-20-19-08 to complete your route.
It is also possible to travel part of the route on the water of River Eem with De Eemlijn.
