Heinz' Quest - Grebbelinie visitor centre

For children aged 9-12 or families who want to (also) explore during the walk, there is Heinz's Speurtocht. The tour starts at the visitor centre counter and the wooden soldiers and takes them all over the fort. All sights are visited and examined on the basis of 10 questions, which mainly challenge the researcher to look very carefully.

Heinz is one of the eight wooden soldiers at Fort aan de Buursteeg. Discover the life of this German soldier on a treasure hunt that starts at the Grebbelinie Visitor Centre. During the tour of the fort you will pass by the traces left behind by the soldiers including German kochbunkers and a bunker of the Pantherstellung. Once you have found all the places, you will discover what Heinz actually liked most about the fort. At the reception desk, you can check your map.

'Wooden soldier Heinz' is not a fighter, but has a hobby he spends all his free hours on. Whoever returns with the solution will get a nice comic book at the counter, which will help you get to know Heinz and the other wooden soldiers a bit better.

Good to know

The walking route is about 2 kilomer. For the longer route, boots are recommended, especially in rainy periods. For Heinz's route, good shoes are sufficient.

Cost

• Price per child: €4.50 (each child receives a treasure map, a pencil and finally a comic book)
• Tracking with tracking card and pencil, but without a comic book? Then the price is € 1.50 p.p.
