Facilities
The park is home to one of Stichting Hang-On's training sites with serious survival course courses, where young and old can take on a serious challenge. There is a bicycle cross-country course, a water play paradise, 5 great slides, an outdoor swimming pool, sunbathing area and by the pool is a lovely terrace with a real tropical-style pool bar! Guests can buy all kinds of delicious ice creams, drinks and snacks. Of course there is the RCN Kruimelpadclub and there are (new) challenging, interactive play equipment.
Camping
Camping in the woods of Doorn has its advantages: the natural location means there is plenty of space for campers and the open-plan terrain ensures plenty of peace and privacy. There are various types of pitches - at least 100 square metres in size - so there is the perfect spot for everyone. There are standard pitches, comfort pitches (with private water connection and drainage) and pitches with private sanitary facilities. Of course, there are also camper pitches, possibly with private sanitary facilities.
Enjoying the feeling of camping but the luxury of accommodation? Then you can also use a cosy camping hut. Equipped with a bed and a minimalist kitchen, ideal for 1 or 2 nights!
Accommodation
On many holiday parks, the camping fields are separated from the accommodation, but the Grote Bos has a unique mix: everything is mixed together, the atmospheric holiday homes interspersed with the spacious camping pitches. There is a choice of rental options, such as a luxury mobile home or an atmospheric bungalow Sparrendaal. Looking for something unique? Food and drink
A cup of coffee, breakfast, tasty lunch or simple (or extensive) dinner? It is possible at Brasserie la Forêt, the cosy restaurant located at Het Grote Bos. When the weather is nice, you can relax on the terrace. If you prefer something easy, you can visit the park's snack bar. The supermarket serves fresh breakfast rolls.
