Swimming pool Octopus

About the swimming pool
In Leusden, in the middle of the country and easily accessible via the A1 and A28 motorways, you will find swimming pool Octopus. Want to come for free swimming, go down the water slide, do aqua sports or celebrate a children's party? Looking for swimming lessons for yourself or your child(ren)? Swimming pool Octopus offers it all!

What makes Zwembad Octopus unique? We disinfect all swimming water using salt electrolysis. This means that we do not add chlorine to the water, but a chlorine compound is created by salt electrolysis. People with respiratory and skin problems, among others, benefit from this.

Swimming pool Octopus has several pools:

Recreation pool
Our playful recreation pool, including a rapids, a whirlpool, a whirlpool and massage banks has an average water temperature of 31 degrees. Set a fast time on our spectacular water slide! And for the little ones, we have a separate toddler area with an Octopus slide. The slide is only open on Friday evening during disco swimming and on Saturday and Sunday. Our outdoor pool is closed.

Competition pool
Our competition pool (15 x 25 metres) has an average temperature of 28 degrees and has a moveable bottom. There are professional starting blocks and a fun diving board.

Extra-heated target group pool
Do you prefer swimming in warmer water or need rehabilitation? Our extra-heated target group pool (9 x 15 metres) features lazy steps, a moveable floor and has an average temperature of 33 degrees. This pool is ideal for people who want to swim on a therapeutic basis and for people with rheumatic diseases. On Sunday mornings, during family swimming, the target group pool is open for the little ones!
