Restaurant

At the Field Kitchen, we prepare dishes with local vegetables and herbs. These are brought by wheelbarrow, daily fresh from the historical kitchen gardens. Organic, of course! The taste of Amelisweerd Estate plays the leading role. We serve breakfast, lunch, drinks & dinner. You can always walk in without a reservation. In the summer we serve the Harvest Table, a Slow Food dinner prepared with the harvest of the vegetable gardens. For this, reservations are recommended. On our waterside terrace you will find our cosy outdoor bar all year round, for good coffee and homemade drinks, tasty snacks and in winter, cake & sweets.

Estate shop

Every day, the shop next to the restaurant has fresh dough bread, croissants, sultana bread and delicious cakes from our own bakery! We also have our own jams, chutney, mustard, pasta, flour, etc. But also farmhouse cheese and delicacies from local sustainable food makers. You will also find great sustainable products for yourself or to give as gifts.

Bakery

We sustainably converted a former old stable on the estate into an artisanal bakery. This is where we bake our disembossed breads and cakes. Here is also the Slowfood estate kitchen where we cook all our specialities for the shop. And we have our own mill with two large grain mills on which we grind our own flour.

In the Veldkeuken estate shop, AmelisweerdInfo can recently be found: an information point focusing entirely on the Amelisweerd estate. Visitors who want to know more, see and experience the estate have come to the right place.

AmelisweerdInfo keeps visitors informed about the many activities organised there on a regular basis. Think excursions, walks and special events. For example, nature lovers can join a bird excursion, take part in a tree walk or listen to a podwalk while walking. The information point also offers plenty of inspiration for those wishing to learn more about Amelisweerd's rich cultural history.

AmelisweerdInfo also acts as a digital notice board for sharing educational activities. Visitors or organisers wishing to highlight a suitable initiative themselves can submit their activity. The Field Kitchen is happy to post them so that as many people as possible can enjoy the estate.
