Experience farm life at BoerBert
In a beautiful spot in the middle of the polder, you will find BoerBert: an organic farm where sustainability, animal welfare and experience go hand in hand. Since 2021, Jaco and Liesbeth have run the family business as fifth-generation food makers. Together with their team, they lovingly look after some 280 organic dairy cows and 250 free-range chickens. This is where you taste real farm life!

From fresh milk to farmer's cheese
BoerBert is more than just a dairy farm. In the BoerBertShop you will find delicious products from its own farm, such as raw milk from the milk tap, fresh polder eggs and artisanal organic farm cheese. The shop also sells local products from local family farms. Everything is organic, fresh and made with care.

Farm with a mission
BoerBert works closely with nature. The grass is cut later to protect meadow birds, ditches are cleaned naturally and biodiversity is given full scope. There are 3,100 solar panels on the roofs, generating electricity for the farm and some 300 households. Even the milk heats the farm!

A place for everyone
BoerBert is a place where people and animals feel at home. There is room for a care farm for the elderly, day care for young people, a playgroup and boarding ponies. In this way, the farm has become a real meeting place where everyone can enjoy themselves.
