Tea-house - Pluktuin Stoutenburg

We have set up a cosy teahouse in our old bakery. In the summer months, you can enjoy coffee, tea, homemade cake and scoop ice cream on the terrace here. Since early 2023, we have also had infrared heating in our tea house so that visitors can drink their cup of coffee or tea nice and warm.

Besides apple pie, there is a pie of the week every week, adapted to the time of year, so with fruits that are widely available at that time, preferably from the neighbourhood. We also sell farmhouse ice cream from Hoeve Ruitenbeek. You can charge your electric bike while you enjoy a cup of coffee on the terrace or take a stroll through the garden. You can also join us for a delicious High Tea, by appointment only, for groups of 4 or more. Great fun in combination with, for instance, picking flowers or a nice walk in the area.

The teahouse is located in the middle of the beautiful area of 'Het Utrechts Landschap'. here are various possibilities for a nice walk, for example the 'klompenpad' or the 'stoute schoenpad'.

The teahouse is open Thursday to Saturday, from when our tulips start flowering (mid-April) until the end of the picking season (mid-October). Keep an eye on our facebook and instagram pages for current opening hours.

Pluktuin

The garden is open Thursday to Saturday from 10.30am to 5pm. From mid-April to early May, you can pick tulips at our picking garden! After that, the tulip bulbs go out and we start planting the raised summer plants from our greenhouse. These will then flower from July and you are welcome again to come and pick a beautiful summer bouquet. For up-to-date information; see facebook

In our colourful flower-picking garden grow lots of varieties of flowers such as dahlias, ammi majus, lathyrus. marigolds, cornflowers, zinnias etc. too many to mention. You can pick your own flowers and use them to create a self-made bouquet.
