At the beginning of September, Leerdam is the place to be! In the weekend of 11 to 13 September, the glass city will be all about the age-old craft of glassblowing. During the event Glas Leeft! glass will come to life in the centre of Leerdam. Experienced artists will show how the most beautiful shapes are created from glowing hot material.
Scattered throughout the city, you will find (free) demonstrations, films, exhibitions and glass art of all kinds. Galleries open their doors and glassblowers display their latest, most striking creations. There is plenty to see, do and experience in and around the city centre.
