Open Monumentendag is the largest cultural event nationwide, with 2 million visitors to a large number of beautiful and interesting monumental buildings.
In Bunschoten this is more limited, partly because we organise the annual Fishing Day the weekend before. But it is certainly worthwhile to walk or cycle past the special buildings in our village that are open - or can be admired from the outside. You can find more information on the Open Monumentendag website.
It often combines nicely with the Art Route.
