Join Vleermuis, Das and IJsvogel on an adventure during the exhibition ‘A Fort for Vleermuis’ at Wijk bij Duurstede Town Hall.
As you stroll past Gitte Spee’s beautiful illustrations, the story unfolds step by step. Das hears a cry for help: Vleermuis has got lost in the dark. Will they manage to help her find her way back to her fort?
The exhibition is based on the ‘Gouden Boekje’ of the same name, produced in collaboration with the Dutch World Heritage Foundation. Children are introduced in a playful way to the UNESCO World Heritage Site ‘Dutch Waterlines’, where forts and water once worked together to defend our country.
A fun and educational outing for curious children and their parents and grandparents, full of adventure, stories and special illustrations.
