Soundgame: The Riddle of the Roman Fortress

In the interactive sound game Het Raadsel van het Romeinse fort, you step into a world where sound is your main guide. You travel back to Roman times, when the Hoge Woerd was home to a fort, a castellum. Here an ancient riddle unfolds that can only be solved with sharp listening and clever thinking. You choose the locations you visit, but be warned: time is ticking inexorably. Will you succeed in deciphering the secret before it is too late?

This interactive game is entirely based on sound and takes place at locations in and around Castellum Hoge Woerd; places discovered by archaeologists. If you end up in the game at the blacksmith's shop, for instance, you are actually standing on the spot where the forge stood in Roman times. Playing is easy with your own smartphone. The best experience is with headphones, but you can also play in groups with your speaker. A map helps you find your way. Have fun!
