JULIET | I PROMISE YOU ETERNAL DOUBT

*I Promise You Eternal Doubt* is the theatre debut of Juliet, whose hilarious and spot-on 30-second songs have racked up millions of views on social media and who counts Frits Spits among her fans. Now aged thirty, she is taking stock of her life. Completely overwhelmed by all the stag and hen parties, baby showers and friends’ weddings she drags herself to every week, she wonders whether she and her boyfriend are really cut out for the ‘house, tree and pet’ life. She secretly keeps track of who’s taking what, just in case they split up; after an argument, he Googles the rates for removal vans. The only thing they can promise each other is eternal doubt. From behind her piano, Juliet sings of the dilemmas facing modern thirty-somethings, accompanied by guitarist Pascal Voorbraak.
